    Dr. Mojo and the Zydeco Cannibals are a unique group of musicians performing Louisiana bayou dance and party music. Zydeco is a mix of different types of rhythms and sounds, in New Orleans you would call it more of a Creole mix. Creole is a touch of French, African, Caribbean and Cajun. Zydeco masters such as Clifton Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, Rockin Dopsie can be heard from the set list of Dr. Mojo and the Zydeco Cannibals.

    When the accordion and the band get going we guarantee you won't be able to sit still. From Louisiana bayou dance and party music to Tex-Mex and even some blues, you are guaranteed to have a good time with one of Tucson's premier Zydeco bands.

    After the performance at Tucson's first annual Music and Heritage Festival people have since taken up interest and enjoy the special sound that this band brings to the stage.

    George and Arthur have been playing New Orleans style music and jazz standards to many happy ears for a fresh change of music styles. Ranging from Contemporary artist such as Cole Porter, Miles Davis

    Avery Parish, Professor Long Hair, James Booker and many others. As a duo they make you listen dance and just appreciate great music for any occasion, from cocktail parties to back round music for convention dinners to just getting out there and dancing. The styles range from contemporary jazz,

    Boogie Woogie and New Orleans second line grooves. This is a duo for any party.

    In the arena of R&B music the R&B soul review are in the heavyweight division. when they take the stage,  the audience quickly senses that this band is something special. And when they hit the first chords of their opening number, it becomes apparent that these guy's are master musicians! there's gonna be a party tonight!

    Words most frequently used to describe this band are high energy, versatile and unique. "High energy" because they interpret a wide range of R&B styles and dance rhythms. And "unique" because whether they are performing an old classic or an original, these musicians have a style that is very much their own.

    The R&B Soul Review play all types of standard and contemporary soul and blues styles. From Al Green, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, BB King , Stevie Wonder too all the best blues and R&B artist that we have all grown up listening too.  These talented musicians all have over 30 yrs experience in mastering the craft. You won't be able to stop shimmying and shaking in your seat or dancing till the music stops --- nor will you want to.

    George Howard has been involved in playing the blues for over 25 years. His participation includes teaching, presenting workshops, photographing events of other blues musicians and being personally involved with these from the legendary line up of blues greats: John Lee Hooker, Syl Johnson Louisiana Red, Bo Diddley, Charlie Mussellwhite, Jimmy Thackery, and Johnny Lang.

    George has also produced and co-produced records on independent labels, as well as buying shows and managing bands. George has recently been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, and has been playing for resorts, casino's and private parties as well as concerts

    The Roadhouse Hounds play all types of contemporary music with close blues origins: Muddy Waters chicago electric blues, Texas swing blues, and the compelling sounds of Mowtown. George Howard is the band's founding member. As the band's lead vocalist, George brings forth the band's soul, spirit and humor. And when drumming, his chops propel the wide variety of infectious dance rhythms behind the expert musicians who are the Roadhouse Hounds.

    George Howard has also been recently playing and recording with friends around the country and has recently returned from touring in Europe and the U.S.A. Some of George's influences and musicians that he has shared the stage or recording studio with are:

Rather, the audience always finds themselves unable to stop shimmying, shaking or twisting either in their seats or on the dance floor.
